WHERE WILL THE FUNDS GO?
The funds generated by FebFast will be donated towards research, prevention and service delivery within the youth alcohol and other drugs sector.
40% of the funds are earmarked for YSAS (the Youth Substance Abuse Service) and 10% are allocated to the Australian Drug Foundation.
The remainder of the funds will be allocated by the FebFast Gift Fund Management Committee based on an assessment of applications for funding that are to be submitted by organisations from Australia’s youth alcohol and other drugs sector.
More information about the process will be available for sector applicants after February 2008.
